    Well, I tried the Butternut Squash hint and it didn’t turn out well for me. the bottoms of the chunks were burnt after half an hour, and I think I put too much salt on. Also I had a really hard time peeling the thing before cooking it, so I gave up halfway and just shoved unpeeled chunks in there with the peeled. They came out fine, and less burnt because they were sitting on the peel. If I had to cook a butternut squash again, and I predict I will, it’s going to be peeled after cooking. Also it’s going to be cooked according to a previous squash recipe provided by you all: halved, face down [de-seeded] in a pan with water halfway up. Those have always turned out fine.
